Welcome

Founded in 1997, the Chamber has developed as a proactive and motivated membership-based organisation representing the interests of business and commercial operators as well as those of the wider community.

As the Chamber's name implies, many members have a strong affiliation with the tourism industry and cooperative liaisons with other stakeholder groups play an important role in the day to day operation of the organisation.

In keeping with the sub-tropical lifestyle enjoyed on the Coral Coast, the Chamber has also adopted a professional yet somewhat relaxed approach to its meeting format where networking amongst members is paramount. All members attending the monthly meetings are given the opportunity to address the meeting and to provide updates on their particular business activities or to raise issues of concern or interest.

In addition to the benefits enjoyed by members, the Chamber also plays an important role in supporting the wider community through fundraising activities for various charities and by establishing and coordinating various events such as the Bargara ANZAC Day Dawn Service Commemorations and the annual Tony Leckie Memorial Golf Classic.
