The Coral Coast Chamber of Commerce & Tourism is a member-focused and achievement-driven union of businesses which are committed to the sustainable growth of the Coral Coast while maintaining the relaxed sub-tropical lifestyle.
Having consistently grown since its foundation in 1997, the Chamber is well placed to represent the needs of its membership through a united voice and with the ability to lobby as a member of the Queensland Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Wide Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce.
The Chamber's identified area of operation is within the gazetted boundaries of the Burnett Shire with Associate Membership available to other regional businesses as described below.
The Chamber welcomes membership applications from all businesses and invites them to avail themselves of the benefits already enjoyed by current members.
ORDINARY MEMBERSHIP
Any company, firm or person engaged in business or a profession or any
director or executive officer of a public institution connected with commerce,
industry or tourism, with a primary place of business which is located within
the boundaries of the Chamber as identified in Rule 1 shall be eligible for
Ordinary Membership of the Chamber and the numbers shall be unlimited.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
Any individual or organisation with a primary place of business which is not
located within the boundaries of the Chamber but, by the nature of its
operation, conducts business within those boundaries shall be entitled to
Associate Membership of the Chamber. Such Associate Membership shall
carry all the entitlements of Ordinary Membership except for the right to vote
on any matter affecting the Chamber.
Any individual or organisation holding Ordinary Membership may apply for Associate Membership for any additional business or organisation under that same ownership and subject to the rules set out in the Constitution.
