Mon Repos

Mon Repos is a magnificent sandy beach just north of Bargara and is the home of largest Loggerhead Turtle Rookery on the east coast of Australia. The area is a designated Conservation Area and strict rules do apply. The turtles of Mon Repos are without doubt one of the most sought after attractions on the Coral Coast, however to protect them and their hatchlings a permit must first be obtained.
